MANY parents have been sprucing up old wendy houses for their kids', taking to them with a lick of paint to create new, modern play homes.
But taking her skills to the next level, one mum decided to make her own from scratch using recycled cardboard boxes - and it looks just like one you'd buy in a store.
The play house is big enough for the youngster to play in and is complete with a door, windows, princess-inspired wallpaper and is even equipped with lighting and plants.
The only cost, the mum revealed, was the fairy lights and a few plants which she'd picked up from Poundland for just a couple of quid.
The rest was made up of things she already had laying around with the chuffed mum revealing she has "one happy little lady".
Her little lady wasn't the only one impressed by the mum's handiwork as the Facebook post has racked up an astonishing 8.2k likes.
Members of Facebook group are amazed my just how good the wendy house looks, with many suggesting the idea to their loved ones.
"Looks amazing!!!well done," one person wrote.
And another said: "Absolutely adorable."
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Oh wow that is so cute my little one would love something like that."
It's safe to safe that one little girl will certainly be entertained during lockdown - and it was so cheap to do too.
Other mums have also been sprucing up old wendy houses to impress their little ones, with some pretty impressive results.
