Speaking to she explained that William and Harry have been chatting on the phone.

With their dad Prince Charles recently battling with coronavirus, and Prince Harry reportedly feeling “homesick”, she said the brothers could think of no better time to reconnect.

Katie explained: “They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch.”

The royal author went on to explain that there was a “sense of relief” for both the Sussexes and the Cambridges.

But while the brothers may be building bridges Katie says she doesn’t expect to see the Sussexes “jumping on a plane” regularly back to Britain, as they are firmly rooted in America.
