A CRAFTY mum has shared her simple tip for cleaning piles of Lego - and it only costs 99p. 

Money saving mum Holly Smith, who runs Facebook group , revealed her simple "hack" on .

The mum-of-three said: “Buy a laundry bag. You can get these on eBay for as low as 99p. 

“Fill the bag with the Lego you want to clean and pull the drawstring. 

“The next time you load the dishwasher, place it in the top, and it will thoroughly wash the Lego and the steam will disinfect it.” 

Just make sure you close the bag securely - or you'll end up picking Lego bricks out of your dishwasher.

And for anyone who doesn’t own one, Holly said the tip works just as well in the washing machine.
