Despite the pair being 10 and 12 now, the mum decided to use the lockdown to organise the cards using frames from The Range, which cost just under £4 each.
She cut out the cards in the shape of a hexagon, deciding to do it by hand using a stencil after finding hand punches were pricey.
The mum shared her incredible creation to Facebook group , where her handiwork has racked up more than 3,600 likes.
She said: “Not a purchase but, I made these from the congratulations cards received when my children were born.
“They are 12 & 10 now.
“I cut the shapes by hand as punches are quite expensive, I did use a template.
“The frames were less than £4 from the range.”
Hundreds of mums have commented on the post, claiming they’ve been inspired to create something similar.
One mum said: “Love this idea. I have all 3 of my babies cards I may have to do this.”
Another wrote: “These are beautiful what a gorgeous idea.”
A third said: “They are beautiful. What a wonderful way to remember a wonderful memory.”
While this person added: “What a great idea. Looks beautiful.”
