Disney launches face mask range and you can get Mickey Mouse, Avengers or Winnie The Pooh versions for the kids

DISNEY has made wearing facemasks a little less scary for kids by releasing a collection with some familiar faces on it.

The facemasks are available to buy via Disney's online shop, and include designs inspired by classic films such as The Little Mermaid, Toy Story and The Aristocats.

The colourful masks are perfect for the whole family with small, medium and large sizes available. 

There are six themes to choose from, including Star Wars, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pixar, Disney Princesses and Frozen, as well as Marvel. 

There are four different designs in each theme, with The Hulk, Baby Yoda, Forky, Elsa, Winnie the Pooh among the characters featured. 

The cloth facemasks, which cost £16.06 ($19.99) for a pack of four, are reusable and machine washable.

Unveiling the new range online, the company said: “Disney is committed to serving the communities where we live and work. 

“During these challenging times, we’re using the power of our timeless stories and beloved characters to address our guests’ needs for family-friendly reusable cloth face masks.” 

Disney also confirmed they'll be donating profits from sales of the facemasks and giving away one million masks to families across the US.

They added: "Disney is donating one million cloth face masks for children and families in underserved and vulnerable communities across the U.S. that will be distributed by MedShare (www.medshare.org).

"Due to overwhelming demand, we're thrilled to share that we have reached our goal of raising $1 million in profits from the sales of our cloth face masks, which will be donated to MedShare to support the medical community's ongoing efforts to provide lifesaving care to those in need."

The facemasks, which aren’t medical grade, are available to pre-order with shipment to the UK costing £27.64 ($35.40), and they’re estimated to arrive by July.
