In a post on Facebook group , the DIY fan called Helen, showed how her other half had put some "tatty old pallets" to good use in their garden.
The social media user shared pictures of the amazing results - a very professional-looking bar painted in pale lilac and grey, and finished off with eye-catching vanity-style lights.
Captioning the images, she wrote: "Seen a few posts in here of people who have made things out of pallets so wanted to share my hubby’s latest creation!
"Wasn’t sure what to think when he bought home some tatty old pallets and said he wanted to make a bar but I love it.
"Paint and lights all from Wilko."
The beautifully-finished project - which is bound to get lots of use in the upcoming sunshine - went down well with fellow group members who left more than 5,500 'likes'.
One person wrote: "Brilliant."
Another commented: "Love it."

A third shared: "Now I know what to do with my leftover pallets, your hubby is a genius."
And a fourth added: "Absolutely great."
It comes as it was revealed that choosing light-coloured plant pots means you'll need to water them less.
Opting for a lighter, neutral colour, which can also include sandy beige and pale grey, means they can better deflect sunlight.
This will reduce heat absorption and mean the plants don't dry out as quickly - so that they require less hosing.
