A user uploaded a video of themselves unwrapping a bar of soap and popping it on a plate in the microwave.

As the soap heats up it expands and into a candy floss-like substance, which they called ‘cloud soap’.

She says you need to blast it for around a minute to a minute-and-a-half to achieve a fluffy texture.

After taking it out the microwave it’s more than doubled in size, and she breaks a bit off and washes her hands with it, claiming “it works”.

Her video has been viewed thousands of times online, with one person calling it the “forbidden cotton candy”.

Another suggested: "Use it as shaving cream."

While someone else simply commented: “This really works.”

But it seems the hack can only be achieved with a particular brand of soap - called Ivory - which you can buy online at Amazon.
