Whipped coffee is the latest trend taking social media by storm – and it couldn’t be easier to rustle up
WITH coffee shops closed for the foreseeable future, people have been forced to get creative with their morning brew.
And in place of their regular cappuccino or double shot affagato, caffeine lovers have been making whipped coffee from home - and it's so easy.

To make your own, simply add two-three tablespoons of instant coffee to a bowl and mix in the same amount of sugar - or adjust to your liking.
Add in equal amounts of hot water and stir quickly with a spoon or whisk until it forms a foam - which should take roughly five minutes.
Then add ice to a mug or jar, and fill with cold milk before spooning in the whipped coffee blend.
While it's more common to serve cold, you could also try heating the milk first and skip the ice.
Some recipes vary and use brown sugar instead or white, with others even adding flavoured syrup for extra sweetness.
Have it with a slice of home-made banana bread, or your very own McDonald's McMuffin (home-made, of course), and it'll feel like a real cafe experience.
