The band may have split or their movie is a distant memory – but these stars remain BFFs
Kimberley Walsh, 38, Nicola Roberts, 34 & Cheryl, 36
It was hit show Popstars: The Rivals that saw Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley make it into the band with Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding to become Girls Aloud.
But since the girls split in 2013, it’s the threesome who have remained closest.
Nicola says: “Kimberley and Cheryl are my roots.
“We’ve gone through everything together.”
Cheryl says: “I left [the band] with these two amazing, gorgeous souls and the best friends anyone could ask for.
“I will never be able to thank you enough for the support, love and loyalty you brought to our group.”
Kimberley says: “It is a real connection between us three.”
Leonardo DiCaprio, 45 & Kate Winslet, 44
They showed us what true love looked like as Jack and Rose in Titanic in 1997, aged 22 and 21 years old respectively.
And yet, over two decades later, it’s their real-life friendship that still makes us go gooey.
The stars have played a huge part in each other’s lives, with Leo walking Kate down the aisle for her third marriage to Ned Rocknroll in 2012, not to mention the speeches, hugs and shout-outs at every awards ceremony since.
Kate says: “Leo, I’m so happy I can stand here [at the Golden Globes 2009] and tell you how much I love you and how much I’ve loved you for 13 years…”
Leo says: “She’s such a terrific person in general that our chemistry naturally happened on screen. We just like each other.”
Maisie Williams, 22 & Sophie Turner, 24
We know and love them as the fearsome Stark sisters Arya and Sansa in Game Of Thrones, but IRL the two girls have a bond that is a lot more, well, snuggly than their telly siblings.
As well as consistently gushing over each other in interviews, they’ve got matching tattoos with the date they landed their roles in GOT, and in May last year Ms Williams was even one of Sophie’s maids of honour at her south of France wedding to beau Joe Jonas. Sister goals!
Maisie says: ”Whenever I’m like: ‘I need help! This is bigger than anything I can sort out on my own’, Sophie is my point of call.”
Sophie says: “We were pretty much best friends from [the moment we met]…Maisie is definitely my protector, and I’m hers, too.”
Courteney Cox, 55 & Jennifer Aniston, 51
The pair met on the set of Friends back in 1994, and quickly went from being unknown actresses to much-loved TV stars.
Since the end of the show in 2004, they’ve spoken out about continuing to be pillars of strength for each other.
Courteney says: “We just have fun, we laugh, we’re inseparable and it’s great.”
Jennifer says: “She’s extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving… All I can say is she’s been there for me through thick and thin.”
Cameron Diaz, 47 & Drew Barrymore, 45
Forget the glamour of a film set – these two met when Drew served Cam in their local coffee shop in Beverly Hills when she was just 18.
While they remained casual mates after that, it wasn’t until Drew rang up Cameron when she was cast as her ass-kicking co-star in Charlie’s Angels that a true friendship was born.
And they remain as close as ever, with Drew being a bridesmaid at her bestie’s wedding to rocker Benji Madden in 2015, plus in December she inspired the middle name of Cameron’s daughter, Raddix Chloe Wildflower Madden – named after Drew’s autobiography, Wildflower. Beyond cute.
Drew says: “We’re like sisters and we see each other all the time.
“She’s the most loyal, fierce, fun, cosy friend.
“We have incredible honesty with each other.”
Cameron says: “We’ve been in this industry for a long time and that’s a feat.
“To have people that you’ve known for that long – those are real relationships.
“We’ve gone through a lot in life together.”
Donald Faison, 45 & Zach Braff, 44
They have one of TV’s most famous bromances, and it’s continued to thrive long after the 2010 demise of sitcom Scrubs, in which they played besties JD and Turk.

Since then, they’ve shared their ongoing love for each other through Insta pics and joint family vacays, plus Zach was a groomsman at his pal’s wedding in 2012 and is godfather to two of his children, Rocco, six, and Wilder, four.
Donald says: “[Zach]’s my best friend. I’m really fond of that man, I’m not ashamed to say it.”
Zach says: [In an Insta post to his bestie] “Happy Birthday to my Ride Or Die. I love you so much it hurts sometimes.”
