LOL Surprise Dolls are offering FREE postcards to help kids stay in touch with their friends while school is shut
WITH schools shut and no way to socialise and communicate with friends, the UK's younger generation are being exposed to feelings of separation due to lack of interaction with their friends - probably even more than adults.
To help combat those feelings, best-selling toy brand L.O.L. Surprise! have launched a national BFF Pen Pal campaign, encouraging children who are social distancing at home to find alternative ways to stay in touch with their friends as well as offering parents a fun activity to keep children occupied.

The campaign will teach children how to stay in touch with their friends and family the old fashioned way, by sending postcards to each other, as staying connected and maintaining friendships has never been more important with children home from school and missing their friends and family.
The best part, though, is that by participating in the fun activity, kids are able to take a break from screens with the campaign encouraging little ones to bring back the fun of writing by exchanging letters with their friends.
There are a range of postcards available to download from the toy brand's social pages - both and - with various designs from their popular collectable ranges – Lights, O.M.G. Fashion Dolls, Boys and #Hairvibes.
But not only does it offer then chance for your child to send a note to a friend, each design also includes a fun activity for children to take part in such as colouring-in or spot the difference - so gives them the opportunity to stay occupied while indoors.
While traditional postcards are sent via mail (quite frankly, that's the fun of it), fans who aren’t able to make it out to the post box will be encouraged to ask their parent or guardian to share their postcards with their friends digitally, meaning no one has to miss out on the fun.
The postcard initiative is a part of wider campaign for parents and kids to help beat boredom at home with the brand also sharing regular content online including quizzes, games, colouring-in sheets and dance challenges - and it's all completely free.
Some famous faces are already on board with and using to help keep their kids entertained during the lockdown.
L.O.L. Surprise!™ was launched in December 2016 and has quickly become a global phenomenon as the world’s best-selling toy, driving the unstoppable craze for collectable toys, and with a wide range of toys and merchandise available, it's not hard to see my both mums and kids love it.
