“By the end of quarantine, they’ll grow back out. I really have nothing to lose.”
She said she was inspired by the full fringe look of Zooey Deschanel and has received numerous compliments from people keen to copy her.

First you need to section off the hair toward the front of your head using a comb.
Then you twist the sectioned-off hair into a skinny twirl and snip it at or around the level of the bridge of your nose.
Unwind and fluff the hair with your fingers for an effortless, chic tousle. Voilà! Pandemic bangs.
Hairstylist Justine Marjan said people should avoid getting the dramatic haircut Credit: Instagram While many people are jumping on the bandwagon, LA-based hairstylist Justine Marjan, who has worked with the likes of Ashley Graham and the Kardashians, advised that people should steer clear.
She said on Instagram: “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but this is not the time to cut your bangs at home.
“The twist method doesn’t pull up the hair with even tension or distribution from both sides, so you will likely end up with crooked bangs.
“It’s also risky to trim your bangs yourself as the hair usually jumps up quite a bit as you pull it, especially when it’s wet. I recommend waiting to see a professional to avoid a hair mishap.”
