The Works is selling a £6 ‘stay at home packages’ for stressed out parents containing puzzle books and crayons

MUMS are praising The Works for selling ‘stay at home packages’ for stressed out parents in the lockdown. 

As schools close from today and kids will be at home 24/7, the department store put together the kits for mums and dads.

Costing £6, they contain a range of fun crafts to keep little ones entertained, including colouring pencils and activity books. 

Spotting them in her local store, one mum shared her find to Facebook group .

She said: “The works are doing stay at home packs, prices vary depending on contents, cheapest I saw was £6 and had a good amount in it. 

“Could be a good idea for kids when the schools close tomorrow.”

More than 6,000 people have liked the post, as mums rushed to stock up on boredom-busting toys and games. 

One mum raved: “Good idea that.”

Another said: “Look good if you see them can you grab me one.”

A third wrote: “They do look good, bet they all sold out.”

But if you can’t get to the shops, The Works also sells a bag of ‘giant bag of assorted crafts’ online for £6, filled with a range of fun activities. 

Describing the kit online, the website said: “Jam packed with card making ideas and things to make, this Big Bag of Craft contains a multitude of crafts for kids to keep them quiet on rainy days and holidays.”

And this mum was in shock after buying 18 loo rolls only for her kids to put them all in the bath.
