Thrifty mum transforms her daughter’s bedroom for just £2 using tester pots of paint to create a polka dot effect

A THRIFTY mum managed to transform her daughter’s bedroom with an incredible polka dot design - which only cost her £2.
Victoria Robinson wanted to spruce up her little girl’s room, but was on a tight budget.
So she decided to so some DIY and picked up two tester pots of paint for £1 each, in black, and grabbed a kid’s paintbrush.
Victoria spent two hours painstakingly painting splotches on her white walls, creating an impressive dotty effect.
The mum, who also has four cats, turfed her kids out the room while she painted free-hand.
She shared the incredible finished design on and Facebook group , where her handiwork has racked up hundreds of likes.
Victoria said: “Here is my little girls room I managed to do on a tight budget and by myself, me my girls and my four cats and I love to do it all myself.
“Two tester pots for £1 each and the wall took approx two hours, may have been done quicker but I procrastinate quite a lot.”
Dozens of people asked how she managed to create the impressive effect, with the mum adding: “Just drew black circles in different shapes…
“Sas you can see at the bottom they got bigger as I was getting bored.
“I used a kids paintbrush and kicked my kids out the room.”
Her project has drawn praise from other parents, with one saying: “Love it!!!
