Entitled wife loses her £4K wedding ring then slams husband for getting her £230 replacement and not ‘something bigger’
A WIFE who lost her £4,000 wedding ring has been slammed after she complained about the £230 replacement that her husband purchased.
The anonymous woman took to the Facebook group A Group That Makes Small Decisions For You, where she posted a snap of the ring that she claims to be sapphire.
Captioning it she wrote: “Long story short; I lost my wedding ring a couple months ago. It was worth 5,000 dollars (£3,800).
“My husband came home the other day and got me this small sapphire ring (worth probably 300 [£230]) in the interim.
“I don’t like it but I haven’t expressed that to him. Should I stop being an ungrateful b**** and take the gift. He’s a great husband and it came from the heart.
“(Or) express to him your true feelings about it and that you wanted the same ring as before or at least a little bigger (sic).”
Commenting, one user wrote: “Keep your mouth shut and appreciate the fact you have a partner who is this thoughtful.”
Agreeing a second added: “How is it a small decision if you should be nasty or grateful for something your spouse did for you?
“With this topic in particular, she might start a serious fight with her husband.”
Meanwhile, some accused her of deliberately misplacing the ring.
“If she wants a bigger ring she might have lost it on purpose to try to force his hand” speculated one.
While another posted: “I was thinking the same thing, she lost it on purpose hoping to get something bigger and more expensive.”
