People didn’t disappoint, with the tweet racking up thousands of likes as hundreds owned up to some truly embarrassing wedding fails.
From dogs and children peeing to brides turning up at the wrong venue, these stories may make you think twice about tying the knot.
One woman said: “At my mom's second wedding, when everybody was clapping after they kissed, my brother who was 8 at the time yelled ‘You don't have to clap. She's already been married before’.”

This bride proudly wrote: “Forgot my overnight bag for my wedding night -had to walk thru the hotel lobby in my WEDDING GOWN the day AFTER my wedding looking a mess bc I had nothing else to wear!

Another good tip from this couple: “Our venue told us the napkins would be blush and navy. They were instead pink and royal blue making all the tables in our reception look like a gender reveal party.
“We definitely weren’t pregnant at our wedding but guests wondered if there would be an announcement.”
And this wedding won’t be forgotten in a hurry: “We gave our guests a case of food poisoning. Needless to say, it was quite a long flight to our honeymoon.
“Thank you cards were fun, thanks for the money, sorry for the diarrhea.”
This poor wedding guest said: “I showed up to my cousins wedding in the exact same color as the bridesmaids dresses! I could’ve been a stand in if any one of those girls couldn’t make it!”
