The job vacancy says: “Joining the team, you will take on the role of either Co-Pilot or Pilot in Command, operating a Sikorsky S76 C++ helicopter.

“The Queen’s Helicopter Flight (TQHF) consists of a small team of pilots and ground support, providing the highest standard of helicopter service to Members of the Royal Family on official engagements.”

Apparently the royals like to fly between the London palaces and the Queen's homes in Windsor, Norfolk and Balmoral, as well as to certain engagements. We guess that's one way to beat the traffic!

Her Maj has previously been spotted flying into Kensington Palace, when she met her new great-grandson Prince Louis.
