The Queen needs a ‘meeter and greeter’ at Buckingham Palace to help guests have fun… and you get £21k to live there

THE Queen is currently looking to hire someone to “meet and greet” guests at Buckingham Palace and help with official lunches and state events. 

Her Majesty, 93, has an advertisement up for a “hospitality team member", and it states that you’ll even get to live at the palace.

says: “Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll deliver functions of all scales, from official lunches and receptions to state occasions. 

“You'll also take care of guests from welcome to goodbye, making sure every person has an exceptional experience.”

The role pays £21,000 but you will get all meals provided at the royal residence. 

There’s also a pension scheme, 33 paid holiday days, and benefits in place, and you may get to travel to other royal residences throughout the year too.

The best part of the opportunity is no experience is required to apply for the role. 

The monarch is looking for someone who is “at your best working in a team” and who has an “enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.”

The palace says: “It's the extensive back-of-house preparation that ensures success.

“The basics must always be right. That’s why we take pride in our specialist skills training so that your presentation and delivery will always be spot-on.”

Previously the royal family were advertising for a new travelling Jeeves - who can pass an exam in "butlering."

They were also on the hunt for someone to care for the Queen’s treasured horses at the palace.
