Mum uses a cheap glove to dust her dirty blinds and people can’t believe how obvious the tip is
OKAY we'll admit it - we hate dusting so much that the cloths we bought specifically for this household chore are (ironically) gathering dust underneath our kitchen sinks.
Well it looks like the time might have come to finally chuck them away - because one savvy mum has revealed how a cheap old glove does an amazing job of cleaning her blinds.
And we don't say this lightly - but it actually makes it look FUN.
Posting on the Facebook group , mum Dawn Walton wrote: "Blind cleaning... I've tried many things over the years.
"Who knew that a simple glove would make blind cleaning so much quicker and easier?!"
Instead of using a feather duster and disturbing the dust so it flies all over the room, all the mum did was put in the glove and run it along the length of her blinds to capture it all.
What's more, the old glove also allowed her to do three slats at once- saving a lot of time and effort in the process.
And while there's no denying it's a simple trick, other members of the group were blown away by how well it worked.
"I need to do mine," on replied. "Will be using this tip next week!!"
Another added: "Wet the glove in a diluted fabric conditioner. That way the dust sticks and doesn't fly everywhere. Smells ace too."
