But it now appears that Sophie Hinchliffe has plans to strike out on her own after applying to trademark her online name Mrs Hinch.

The star – who boasts over 3.1 million Instagram followers – has just filed documents with the Government’s Intellectual Property Office which means she could use her name on cleaning products like sprays, disinfectants and paper towels and cleaning equipment.

The trademark would also extend to books, DVDs, and clothes, toys, sportwear and even GAMES…. we’re imagining an app where you have to race against the clock to virtually clean your hob with The Pink Stuff.

The documents – which are currently being considered – stay in place for 10 years before they need to be resubmitted once they are approved.

Her second book has already become an Amazon bestseller – despite not being released for another two months

She’s filed papers to register the trademark in a total of 18 different product classes covering dozens of items.

Last year, the star launched her first self-help book Hinch Yourself Happy and her second book – The Little Book of Lists – is already an Amazon best-seller based on pre-orders alone.

As well as her two books, Sophie has also previously partnered with eBay and sponge company Scrub Daddy on a series of sponsored Instagram stories.

Commenting on the star’s latest business move, Andrew Bloch – founder of – told Fabulous Digital: “She’s a very shrewd and smart character.

“In a short period of time, she’s managed to build a name for herself and more importantly, build a brand.

“She’s recognised that – she’s got a very smart management team behind her who have been behind the success of many other of the biggest influencers who have emerged over recent years.”

Mrs Hinch’s talent agency Gleam also represent Zoella, YouTuber family The Saccone Jolys and campaigner Gina Martin.

Andrew added: “She’s got a good team who are commercially astute. So while you might think it’s one woman sitting on an iPhone just posting pictures, there’s a machine behind that now.

“She’s got a big opportunity now. Assuming she gets it right – which I have no doubt that she will – she’d definitely be set to make millions.

Brand expert Andrew Bloch says Mrs Hinch has established herself as brand as a result of her dreamy grey interiors and affordable cleaning hacks

“She’s making mundane topic of household chores into something that feels fresh and aspirational and exciting. It’s a natural move for her to look into launching products.”

That said, Andrew doubts the star will be launching her own clothing range or toys any time soon – and believes the trademark will simply prevent other people from “benefiting from her hard work.”

The mum – who welcomed baby Ronnie last year – said on her Instagram stories recently: “Yes I’m only 29 but I would prefer to clean, attempt to cook, sew and buy baskets than go clubbing. That’s Mrs Hinch for ya, and I’m proud of it.”
