Mum transforms kitchen into stunning space using The Range wallpaper for £3 and Wilko furniture paint
GIVING your home a makeover needn't dent your bank balance too much.
A thrifty mum has revealed online this week how she had transformed her tired kitchen into a stunning space for next to nothing.
Posting on group 'Extreme Budget DIY & Life hacks', the woman called Jamie explained how she had managed to achieve the amazing result using £2.99 wallpaper from The Range, as well as furniture paint and £5 Fablon rolls from Wilko.
Sharing 'before' and 'after' pictures, she wrote: "And it is finished!!!
"So pleased with how it looks now. £2.99 wallpaper on clearance at The Range, furniture paint from Wilko and two rolls of Fablon for the countertops."
In the images, her previously oak wood cabinets have been painted a chic grey, while the granite-effect surfaces are now marble print, and the previously-plain splash back area now has a stylish brick design.
