Shoppers are going wild for Poundland’s new perfume range with some comparing it to Black Opium and Chanel

SHOPPERS are going wild for Poundland’s new perfume range comparing it to designer fragrances such as Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel. 

The budget store dropped a new line of scents - all for a quid.

Called Black Dusk, Rose, Sparkling Sky, 9th Element, Beau Reve and more, fans have noticed similarities to their favourite brands. 

Black Dusk has been compared to YSL’s Black Opium, which sells for £54 a bottle on the brand's website.

Meanwhile 9th Element has been hailed as a dead ringer for Chanel No. 5, costing £57 from their official website. 

Fans have been sharing snaps of their haul on Facebook group , as they debated which were the best dupes.

One fan said: “9th element is meant to be Chanel No 5 right? Might have to buy it because I love the smell of Chanel No 5 and I have another dupe that as much as I love wearing it, it's £20 a bottle.” 

Another raved: “Yes, the 9th Element is the perfect dupe for Chanel No 5. AND it lasts all day!” 

A third commented: “Their 9th Element eau de parfum is the best ever dupe for Chanel No 5.”

Someone else wrote: “For anyone who loves Black Opium like me this is in Poundland atm and smells exactly the same!!”

While this person added: “Am wearing their copy of Chanel No 5 - it's great!” 

Referencing the Sparkling Sky, this person said: “Got this today smells lovely even those it's a dupe of angel I've never smelt angel what do people think of it.”

As Poundland doesn’t sell online, you’ll need to head to your nearest store to bag yourself a bottle.
