Wedding party slammed for pretending to perform lewd sex act in ‘trashy’ photo
A WEDDING party has been slammed for a “trashy” photo that sees the bridesmaids pretend to perform a lewd sex act.
Taking to Reddit user Twaheela shared the offending snap which saw both the bride and her bridesmaids kneeling before the groom and his best man.
All the men can be seen sporting huge grins while they stand in front of the women in rather compromising positions.
Captioning the snap the Redditor wrote: “This trend is universally bad, but this iteration is the worst I’ve personally seen to date.”
And fellow users were equally horrified by the snap, sharing their outrage of the “degrading” shoot in the comments.
“Oh this is humiliating. I’d refuse to be a part of this” said one, with another agreeing “I feel humiliated just looking at this.”
A third added: “Definitely wouldn’t be part of this weird Handmaids tale inspired shoot.”
While another said: “Do you really want to show this to your children one day ‘oh look at the picture where I’m pretending to b*** your Dad dear.’”
Meanwhile others were quick to point out the men’s “ill-fitting” suits.
One complained: “I’ve never seen so many baggy, ill-fitted suits, all in one picture in my life.”
Another wrote: “Maybe the women are adjusting the leg length on these appalling fit suits. These guys obviously didn’t visit a tailor.”
The photo was shared on the subreddit r/weddingshaming.
The group has almost 90,000 members and is described as a “place to shame wedding themes, brides, grooms, wedding party, in-laws, outlaws, guests, Uncle Bob, vendors… you name it, we shame it!”
