Jennifer Aniston’s true feelings for Brad Pitt ‘leaked out’ despite trying to ‘play it cool’, says body language expert

BRAD Pitt and Jennifer Aniston fans are desperate for the pair to get back together, after their emotional reunion at the SAG Awards on Sunday night.

And now a body language expert has said their true feelings "leaked out", despite the Friends actress trying to "play it cool" around her ex-husband, sparking hopes of them getting back together.

Brad and Jen were together for six years before announcing their split in January 2005 - as Brad got together with Mr and Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie, from whom he has also now separated.

Speaking on Lorraine this morning, Dr Lillian Glass said: "Even though Jennifer tried to be cool about everything and tried to be in control.

"You could tell that she pursed her lips and her eyebrows were knitted.

"But it leaked out, her feelings for Brad, there's no question about it. And vice versa, when they locked eyes, you felt it.

"The camera doesn't lie, the body doesn't lie, we picked it up, we got it."

Meanwhile, body language expert Judi James told Fabulous Digital Jen was keeping her ex-husband "at arm's length". Here's what she said...

If wishful thinking could create a loving reunion for Brad and Jen, they’d be walking off into the sunset again right now, clutching Brad’s SAG Award between them.

But sadly their body language at this event doesn’t provide any conclusive evidence that Braniston is back on the cards again, even though the couple did appear to be throwing some loving looks at one another.

Jen's 'grimace' at Brad's speech

Jen performed an up-turned smile while Brad did his self-effacing speech about wife troubles, pulling the corners of her mouth down and keeping her lips shut.

This type of smile is a cross between a smile and a grimace - and suggested a rueful acknowledgement by Jen of the jokes Brad was making about himself and his marriage.

She also did a slow, raised clap, ensuring she wasn’t looking gleeful about his comments but at the same time registering support for his honesty.

Brad's plea for attention

While Jen did her bit on the red carpet, Brad stood to the side - pulling at her arm in what looked like a bid to get her full attention.

It didn’t look as though Jen fell into his arms though, because initially she kept him at arm's length while she chatted.

His way of holding her also suggested a more tentative approach.

Instead of grabbing her hand for a more intimate or even friendly gesture, he grabbed her by the wrist.

This looked possessive but also lacking in intimacy or even confidence about her reaction.

Brad's look of love

Their kiss did look loving and Brad's eye contact seemed very much like the look of love.

But then he was also throwing that look at her just before they split up in 2005.

Jen’s facial expression suggests she’s surprised to see him, but also pleased.

She raises her hands to instigate and control the greeting kiss but her torso is angled to avoid pelvic touch and what results is what looks like an air kiss between friends.
