Mum transforms husband’s tool cupboard into a beauty station for her three daughters using eBay finds
A MUM revealed how she turned an old tool cupboard into a beauty station for her three daughters on a budget, after picking up bargains from eBay.
Sharing a house – and a bathroom –with four women is a challenge for anyone, particularly when you’re all trying to get ready to in the morning.
To give her three girls their own personal space to do their hair and make-up, one mum turned her husband’s tool cupboard into a beauty station.
She shared incredible before-and-after snaps to Facebook group , revealing the dingy room had bare walls and a single lightbulb hanging down beforehand.
The mum roped in her husband to help with the DIY, as they stripped the walls, laid new floor, gave it a lick of paint and added new furniture and accessories.
The revamped room now has a grey stool, a mirror, storage for all their hair styling tools and baskets to stash their make-up.
The mum added two floating shelves, and revealed she picked up the hair dryer holder for just £3 on eBay.
She posted online: “My cupboard on the stairs transformed from my husband’s work tools storage to a beauty room for my 3 daughters.
“All done on a budget.”
And when quizzed over what happened to her husband’s tools, she revealed they’d been banished to the garden shed.
More than 1,000 people have liked her post online, calling the makeover “brilliant”.
One person said: “Looks great well done.”
