Mike Tindall teaches daughter Mia to surf as they join Zara and Lena for family day at beach during Australia holiday
ZARA and Mike Tindall have been spotted enjoying a family day at the beach with their children.
The Queen's grand-daughter, 38, and her ex-rugby star husband, 41, are on holiday in Australia with their daughters.
Hitting the Surfers Paradise beach on Queensland's Gold Coast, the couple spent quality time with five-year-old Mia and one-year-old Lena.
Mike, wearing a pair of printed blue swim shorts, could be seen diving into the sea to cool off.
At one point, he carried a surf board into the water.
His daughter Mia also attempted to catch some waves with the assistance of her dad.
Meanwhile, Zara, wearing a pink T-Shirt, denim shorts and sunglasses stayed safely on land.
Princess Anne's daughter kept an eye on their youngest daughter, Lena.
Joined by a friend, she began snapping pictures on her mobiles of the little girl - who is the monarch's youngest great-granddaughter.
This weekend, the royal couple gave their support to the fire-fighting effort going on further south in the country.
Huge blazes have killed 24 people and half a billion animals, as well as destroying 13 million acres of land.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, Mike shared shared pictures from a charity event to raise funds for the firefighting effort.
The ex-sportsman wrote: "Awesome way to kick off week with the .
"Such a good laugh and a great start to fundraising for the firefighters fund! "
Praising the royal couple, one person wrote: "This is Brilliant. Go Mike and Zara. HM would be proud."
Another commented: "Great work with the fundraising guys."
