Prince Harry to stay in a remote waterfront estate in North Saanich which belonged to a close friend of his.
He said: “I felt honored that I was able to help Meghan there, because I'm a Canadian and we're a commonwealth country, we're the Crown's.”
The mansion is reportedly worth $14 million and Foster was keen to keep the owner’s identity anonymous but says he was happy to help the couple.
He added: “I don't know what their next plans are, but I know that it was reinvigorating for them to spend some downtime.”
The musician is believed to be connected to Meghan through his wife Katherine McPhee, 35, who attended theatre school with the Duchess.
Katherine, who has gone on to star in Waitress in the West End, shared a throwback photo of them together in February last year.
“Meghan and I did musicals together as kids,” McPhee wrote on Instagram.
“She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex and I grew up to star on the West End, so same life if you ask me.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are coming to the end of their six week break from royal duties.

The pair are said to be "exhausted" by 2019 after they were dogged with criticism over their use of private jets and "excessive" requests for privacy.
