Mum gets filthy trainers sparkling new in minutes using Mrs Hinch’s favourite £1 spray and toothbrush

IT is a truth universally acknowledged that a pair of new trainers won't stay clean for long - no matter how hard you try.
That said, one savvy mum has revealed how you can get any filthy shoes you have lying around at home looking sparkling new in no time - and it'll only cost you £1.
Posting a photo of her daughter's mucky trainers on a Facebook cleaning group, mum Kyla Regan wrote: "My daughter got new trainers for Christmas and found some muddy puddles a few days later."
Much to her mother's horror, the girl returned home with dirt all over her grey, leopard-print trainers.
But rather than chucking them in the washing machine and hoping for the best, the woman instead turned to Mrs Hinch's favourite spray Elbow Grease.
The mum explained: "They took approximately one minute a shoe, I did not machine wash them."

After spraying both the trainers in the multipurpose degreaser, the mum rinsed a toothbrush with warm water and scrubbed them down - focussing on the rubber sole and stained material.
And just like that - the trainers looked brand new again.
Kyla added: "Elbow Grease and a toothbrush and they have come up like new! Happy mum."
But that's not all the cleaning spray can be used for - last year, Mrs Hinch demonstrated how she used it to remove dirt around her windows while another fan raved about the £1 spray which she used to clean her oven for the first time in 10 years.
