Bride confesses she’s in love with wedding planner just DAYS before her big day – but still ties the knot anyway

IF the classic noughties J’Lo film The Wedding Planner taught us anything, it’s that allowing someone else to organise your big day can create trouble in your relationship.

After all, Matthew McConaughey fell head over heels for his wedding planner Jennifer Lopez in the hit rom-com.

But rather than the groom having a wandering eye in this real-life scenario, one male wedding planner has revealed that a BRIDE he was working closely with confessed she was in love with him.

And the worst part is, it was just five days before the wedding.

Sharing the wedding horror story on , a friend of the wedding planner wrote: “He is a good looking, straight male that has an amazing eye for design and detail.

“He can do everything from wedding dress design and execution, flowers, you name it. And his services are not cheap.”

Side note: we can’t help but appreciate how this bride fell for a man who actually enjoyed planning a wedding.

Recalling her dramatic change of heart, the user continued: “[This] bride called him up a few days before her wedding and told him she couldn’t go through with it because she was in love with someone else.”

The wedding planner supposedly replied: “What do you mean you’re in love with someone else!? Your wedding is in 5 days!”

The bride is then reported to have said: “Well…. I’m in love with you. You just GET me! I’ve never met anyone else like you!”

But rather than letting the woman down easy, the man replied: “Do you know how much your parents are paying me to get you?”

Needless to say, this savage replied snapped the bride out of her pre-wedding jitters and she still decided to get married – but never mentioned the incident to her planner again.

Unsurprisingly, other users were wildly sympathetic towards the groom.

“Poor groom,” one replied. “I hope she doesn’t fall in love with the cabana boy on the honeymoon.”

Another joked: “I feel like this is the female equivalent of guys thinking strippers are actually into them.”

Sympathising with the bride, a third wrote: “It’s sad when customers don’t realise that professionals are paid to get their customers. It’s their job to get you.”
