Bridezilla slammed for BANNING her sister from bridal party as her arm sling will ‘ruin’ the photos
A BRIDE has been slammed as ‘selfish’ for debating kicking her sister out of her wedding party as her arm sling will ruin the photos.
The 24-year-old explained her sports-mad little sister, 20, tore a ligament in her elbow three years ago, and had been putting off the surgery to fix it.
After the bride-to-be got engaged to her long-term boyfriend, her sister suddenly decided to get her arm fixed.
She posted her dilemma on , saying: “Around 14 months ago, I got engaged to my boyfriend of 5 years.
“Almost immediately upon me asking my sister to be my maid of honor, she jumped into action on finally getting her elbow surgery.
“Calling doctors, scheduling appointments, etc etc.
I don’t want her to be the maid of honor in my wedding because she’ll be wearing a sling

“My family and I were obviously glad that she was finally opting for the surgery considering how much worse things had gotten for her within the last year.”
Assuming her sister would schedule the procedure ‘far enough away from the wedding’, the bride was horrified when she booked the surgery a week before the nuptials.
With the wedding just three weeks away, she’s debating firing her sister as maid-of-honour because she doesn’t want her sling to ruin the photos.
The bride wrote: “Obviously, I want my sister to be pain free and finally get her surgery.
“But, like any human being, there is a selfish side of me. I don’t want her to be the maid of honor in my wedding because she’ll be wearing a sling in all of the photos and videos from the wedding.”
She revealed she’d floated the idea to some of her family, who thought she was “horrible” for even entertaining it.
The bride-to-be added: “Now, most of my family thinks that I’m a horrible person for even considering not letting my sister be part of the wedding party.
“I feel as though she could’ve waited after the wedding to get the surgery, considering she’s waited 3 years already, or had enough time to get the surgery in advance of the wedding.”
Her post has racked up more than 100 comments, as people branded her ‘selfish’ and ‘vapid’.
Commenting, one person said: “Putting photos before family is a horrible thing to do. They are just pictures.
“Pictures that'll likely be in a box hardly ever seen. Selfish bridezilla much?”
Another wrote: “The presence of a sling in your photos bothers you more than the absence of your sister would. This is some textbook a****** bridezilla behavior.”
A third said: “Say your sister were handicapped and in a wheelchair her whole life... would you even consider her for your bridal party?
“You seem vapid and superficial.”
Someone else added: “Holy s***, you’re selfish. YTA and you are totally aware of this. I can’t imagine being your wedding planner.”
While this person thought: “You're the a****** and you know why, but it seems like your sister knew all along this was a big deal for you and postponed the surgery until the last minute.”
