Wedding guest’s Kim Kardashian-inspired bandage dress likened to a ‘plaster-covered cockroach’

FORGET stressing over smart-casual dress codes – because these days picking an outfit for a wedding is the greatest fashion minefield there is.

As well as avoiding the colour white at all costs, you also have to select a style that isn’t going to detract from the bride on her big day.

So naturally, one wedding guest turned to none other than Kim Kardashian for fashion inspiration when it came to this style dilemma – and chose a dress inspired by the reality star’s Met Gala look from last year.

Before she headed to the wedding, the anonymous woman shared a bathroom selfie of her wearing the nude-tone beaded bandage dress on Facebook.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t long until it was shared in a wedding-shaming Facebook group where users likened it to a “plaster-covered cockroach”.

One replied: “She has a body to die for – so why pick a dress that looks like she’s been bandaged from head-to-toe?”

Another added: “The colour reminds me of a [plaster].”

Describing the outfit as “cheap”, a third wrote: “This looks like the Wish version of Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala dress.”

Meanwhile, another simply wrote: “This dress is a travesty. Reminds me of a cockroach belly.”

On the plus side, at least it’s not as bad as the wedding guest who was mistaken for the BRIDE after wearing a white heavily-embellished Fashion Nova gown to her pal’s big day.
