THE Queen is hiring a housekeeping assistant to work at Windsor Castle, and the chosen candidate can live in the palace grounds.

The hospitality role comes with a 'competitive' salary, 33 days of holiday and the option for live-in accommodation.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and baby Archie live in Windsor Castle's grounds at Frogmore Cottage, while The Queen spends much of the year there.

The job ad, , explains: "This role will be based in Windsor Castle but will involve travelling to other Royal residences...

"The role also offers the option to live-in for which there is a salary adjustment."

The job is 40 hours-a-week, with some weekend work, and you'd be responsible for cleaning and upkeeping the Palace interiors.

Previous housekeeping/hospitality experience is desired but not essential. The job ad closes on January 19.
