Thrifty mum transforms her drab kitchen using £8 B&M bargains and £2 buys from The Range

A thrifty mum transformed her entire kitchen from drab to stylish by spending just over £100.

The savvy mother-of-two shared the incredible before and after pics to Facebook group DIY on a Budget and fellow members were seriously impressed.

Cassie Middleton completely overhauled her previously tired looking kitchen into the sleek, silver design it now stands as.

The mother-of-twins shared the stunning transformation to the Facebook group, writing:

"My kitchen transformation... cost about £105 all together apart from the new toaster, kettle and microwave which was an early present because I had an epic fail at spray painting it. "

She added: "I put a lot of hours in, but I'm totally In love with the colours."

Cassie from Ireland revealed how she was able to achieve the stunning results with just £8 paint from B&M and £1 jars.

The thrifty mum offered a detailed breakdown of what she used, telling her very impressed fellow group members:

"Utensils, holders, door handles, upcycled using Rustoleom rose gold spray paint £7 the range.

"Tiles, 3d stickers from eBay, £8.99 for 10, used 2 packs of photo frames £2 each from the range."

She continued to spill her secrets: "Curtains, voile £15 for 3 x 180 x 120cm drop, then used netting wire, £2 all from the range. Mugs £1 each, Poundland, as are the dangling heart plaques.

"Baskets small 79p large £1.39 from poundstretcher, rug £9.99."

And her fellow group members were grateful for the tips, with one inspired user writing "That is stunning, I love your worktops and cupboards. Great job! Might go to b&m tomorrow haha."
