THE Queen gave former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi a good telling off for being too loud at the 2009 G20 summit in resurfaced footage.

The 93-year-old was captured on camera scolding the Italian leader, as heads of state gathered in London for the annual event.

The monarch joined a photo call with world leaders, but appeared to lose her cool with one of them in a rare public outburst.

Footage from the event shows the G20 members lined up to have their ‘family photo’ taken, with the Queen front and centre wearing a peach dress.

Silvio, now 83, is stood in the back row, behind then-US president Barack Obama.

After snapping the group, they get up to leave when Silvio bellows ‘Mr Obama’ at the dad-of-two, stood just feet away.

His loud interruption appeared to annoy the Queen, who turned back around and threw her hands in the air.

She scolded Mr Berlusconi, saying: “What is it? Why does he have to shout?"

Her comment drew laughs from the other leaders, as Mr Obama replies – in a much quieter voice – saying: “Mr Berlusconi”.

The Queen also had some stern words for the photographer at the event, who reportedly asked her to smile.

In full earshot of the G20 group, she dryly replied: "Is this supposed to be a happy event?"

It’s not the first time the Queen has spoken back to a photographer, after she told off Annie Leibovitz back in 2007.

The celebrity photographer, who charged £50,000 a day, was commissioned to take four portraits of the monarch.

But things got off to a bad start when the Queen was delayed putting on the complicated garter robes.

She walks into the 30-minute session saying: “I’m not changing anything. I’ve had enough dressing like this thank you very much."

But Annie asks the Queen if she could take off her tiara.

She said: “I think it will look better without the crown…

“Could we try it without the crown? It will look better, less dressy, because the garter robe is so…”

The Queen, who is rarely ruffled in public, snaps back: “Less dressy? What do you think this is?”

The BBC was later forced to issue an apology after the footage was edited to make it appear as if she had stormed out of the photoshoot.

We shared how the Queen scolded Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes for being a ‘loud idiot’ when they met at Buckingham Palace.
