Mum creates incredible Xbox-themed bedroom for her son and now others are desperate to give it a go
IT CAN be hard at the best of times to conjure up the imagination to transform an empty space into one your family will want to spend time in.
But one mum has gone above and beyond with her games-mad son's bedroom.
In a post on group 'Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It', the woman called Sophie shared impressive 'before' and 'after' pictures of her interior design skills.
The snaps show how she started off with with a bare area which included a lilac feature wall and white wardrobes.
However, she was able to create a bedroom for her boy that played to his passion for the Xbox.
She painted over the purple with a bright orange and used a light grey shade for the remaining walls and wardrobe.
The mum installed a single bed featuring a geometric print duvet cover - that matched the curtains - as well as an orange throw, and a quirky lampshade.
However, the best bit was perhaps the giant Xbox print she had specially spray-painted on the wall - and, of course, there's an Xbox and TV ready for him to play away with in the corner.
Captioning the images, the mum wrote: "I was really worried about going for orange but I absolutely love it."
She added: "I have a very happy son."
Her post has received over 1.1k 'likes' and more than 170 comments - with many revealing they were also going to give the idea a go.
One person wrote: "Wow that looks amazing hun."
Another commented: "Looks awesome! Wow!"
A third shared: "This looks amazing. Well done!"
