Groom’s ‘crazy ex’ crashes wedding wearing BRIDAL GOWN screaming ‘it should have been me’ – but all’s not as it seems
AFTER the whole "speak now or forever hold your peace" part of the wedding vows has passed, you can't exactly blame a bride and groom for thinking they're in the clear.
Unfortunately for one bride, her absolute worst wedding nightmare became a reality when her husband's "crazy ex-gilfriend" turned up to their wedding screaming "it should have been me".
Stacey Owen, 29, from Aberdare, Wales, got the absolute shock of her life when a woman she didn't know turned up to her wedding reception in a white bridal gown.
Arriving just as their first dance ended, the scorned woman started hitting the groom with a bunch of flowers.
After this, Keri's "crazy-ex girlfriend" then burst into song - which is when the bride realised it had all been a big practical joke organised by her maid-of-hour Jackie.
Speaking to , the genius bridesmaid revealed that she'd asked local comedian January Reees to crash their wedding last November as a practical joke.
Jackie said: "Stacey expected some sort of surprise and I just wanted to do something silly.
"I was searching for ideas online when I came across videos of drag queens going down the aisle which gave me this idea."
At first, Stacey admitted that she was gobsmacked when January came barging onto the dance floor.
She said: "I thought, 'what is going on', as we just done our first dance. At first, the lights were dim and I couldn't see her face so I thought it was one of his nutty exes."
"But when the lights came up, I could see Jan's face and I knew who she was then. My partner was terrified at first."
Unsurprisingly, the practical joke went down with the couple's guests and the bride said the "performance had everyone talking."
She added: "The whole day was brilliant, my partner was hiding behing me, he just said 'I hope she doesn't terrorise me' as he'd seen her live before as a stand-up comedian."
Better still, Jan actually wore her OWN wedding dress to gatecrash the couple's big day and was blown away by their "amazing response".
Note to self: never left your maid-of-honour organise ANYTHING.
For more wedding horror stories, this bride chose white for her bridesmaid dresses and no one can tell who is who.
And this woman put her engagement ring up for sale for £5 after offering it to her ex's girlfriend for free as she "likes what's mine".
Plus this groom's "disgusting" KFC proposal has been slammed after he put the ring in a bowl of chicken and cheese.
