Bride-to-be shows off her engagement ring but it leaves people gagging in disgust

WHEN sharing an image of your engagement ring on social media, most brides-to-be want their diamond to be the centre of attention.

But when one woman posted a snap of her ring, all anyone could talk about was her severe nail infection.

Sharing the image on a ring shaming group, one person wrote: "This lady got an infection from nail dip powder... looks like the infection spread to that ring."

The image shows the woman holding out her hand to reveal what appears to be a sapphire and emerald engagement ring.

But two of her nail beds appear to be red raw with a very nasty looking infection.

And other users were horrified, with one commenting that their own nails "hurt in response".

Another wrote: "Are you sure the infection wasn't caused by the ring?"

While one said: ";I gagged. Felt bad for her. My nails hurt in response. Saw the ring and gagged again."
