Primark is selling goldfish soap bars and they’re so lifelike people are convinced they’re alive
PRIMARK is selling goldfish-themed soap bars which are so realistic people are mistaking them for actual fish.
The department store brought out a new range of soap featuring the common pets in a plastic bag.
But the design of the fish – and the packaging – is so lifelike shoppers have been doing a double take.
People were so convinced the soap, on sale for £1.80, contained real fish they thought it was part of a cruel prank.
Someone shared a snap of the fishy soap to Facebook group where it’s confused multiple people.
They said: “For those doing bath bomb hampers you can get this soap in Primark.”
The post has racked up more than 2,000 likes – as people couldn’t believe they weren't real fish.
Commenting online, one person said: “I thought they were real and you were joking? They look so real.”
Someone else wrote: “Thought they were real and some person being cruel.”
