Bride shares pic of her £7k custom-made engagement ring… and is immediately told it looks like E.T.
A BRIDE-TO-BE has been cruelly shamed online after social media users said her engagement ring "looks like E.T.".
Posting the style on a ring shaming group on Facebook, the woman said she "never gets tired of looking at it" because it was custom made by her fiance.
"This was my ring that I loved and hated for its custom design... roast away," she wrote.
She shared a number of images, one of which was captioned: "I never get tired of looking at this gorgeous ring he made for me."
But social media users were not impressed with the quirky design, which appeared to feature a princess cut diamond in between two sapphires.
One said: "It looks like an alien with extra large eyes!"
While others agreed, saying it reminded them of E.T.
One simply posted a GIF of the Extra-Terrestrial while some compared it to an insect, with one claiming it looked "like a fly head".
