Princess Beatrice ‘to throw engagement party at celeb haunt Chiltern Firehouse this month with Prince Andrew invited’
PRINCESS Beatrice is said to have finally set a date for her engagement party – and has chosen a swanky London hotspot as the venue.
The 31-year-old, who became engaged to Edoardo Mappi Mozzelli, 36, earlier this year, has yet to formally announce details for the wedding but it’s been confirmed for next year.
Despite plans being kept under wraps, it’s said Princess Beatrice has finally chosen the date and venue for her engagement part after getting the green light from the Queen,
The claims the monarch gave royal permission for the glitzy do, which is being held at celebrity haunt The Chiltern Firehouse, on December 18.
They added the 93-year-old had been reluctant to agree on a date for the wedding until about a week ago, but has instructed it not be announced until after the general election.
Despite the official announcement delayed until after December 12, Princess Beatrice is said to have sent out save-the-dates to her friends and family for her engagement party.
Her father, Prince Andrew, 59, is said to be invited but it’s unclear whether he will attend the high-profile event after stepping back from royal duties.
The quoted an insider, who said: “She is up against the clock if she wants to have a wedding within the six-month time frame usual for aristocratic nuptials, but everyone is so relieved things are moving.
“She’s been very down. A wild, glitzy, high-profile engagement party should cheer her up.”
A-list fans of the London club include Rita Ora, Kate Moss, Madonna and Tom Cruise.
The venue also has the royal seal of approval, with guests from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding carrying on the party at the exclusive club after arriving from Windsor in the early hours of the morning.
While Princess Beatrice’s bash is a just week before Christmas, her and her fiancé will be spending the big day apart.
The insider claimed the pair will meet up for New Year’s Eve at the Kenyan resort of Lamu.
Princess Beatrice became engaged to dad-of-one Edo in September, after he proposed during a visit to his native Italy.
