THEY might still have four long weeks to wait until Christmas Day - but if your little ones are bouncing off the walls with festive cheer, then we have some good news.
From now until Christmas, Santa will be giving daily updates to Amazon Alexa about how he's preparing for the big day.
All your children have to do to chat directly to Santa Claus is ask Alexa how many days there are left until Christmas.
After giving them the answer, Alexa will then reply: "Would you like to hear an update from my good friend Santa?"
A VERY cheery Father Christmas then takes over the recording and promises to keep children updated on his festive preparations over the next few weeks - and today, he's cooking mince pies in the North Pole with Mrs Claus.
Raving about the Christmas messages on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one mum wrote: "One for the kids - ask Alexa how many days are left until Christmas and you will get asked if you want to receive a message from Santa.
"Something fun for the kids to get excited about."
Her post has since racked up over 2,700 comments from other parents who are desperate to try this out with their kids.
One replied: "Oh yay! Something new we can try."
Tagging a mate in the comments, another joked: "Got to be better than the kids asking for farts again?"
Although Santa's messages are automatically on all Amazon Alexas, parents can also download free and apps to chat with Father Christmas in the run up to the big day.
For more fun, festive stories, fast food fans can now get KFC and Burger King Christmas tree decorations for FREE.
And this mum created a stunning Christmas bow front door decoration for just over £10 using B&M and Home Bargains steals.
Plus time-strapped mums can now buy a POP UP Christmas tree - and it already has lights on it too.
