Mum makes incredible heart-shaped Christmas wreath, spending just £11 at Poundland and Home Bargains
A MUM has revealed how she made an incredible heart-shaped wreath for just £11 by shopping around for bargains.
One woman decided to change up her Christmas decoration this year, and shunned the traditional round wreath for a heart shaped one.
She shopped around for materials and bought a plain wreath from Home Bargains for just £6.
And the thrifty mum hit up Poundland for all her decorations, splashing £5 on fake snow, berries, pine cones and orange slices.
She used a glue gun – which she also sourced from the budget store – and stuck everything down.
Her creative skills have been praised online after she shared a snap of her wreath to Facebook group , where it’s racked up thousands of likes.
She said: “Plain heart wreath from home bargains £6.
“£5 of things to stick on from Poundland
“All stuck down with a glue gun (also from Poundland). Total cost £11.”
Hundreds of people commented on her post, with one person saying: “As a Florist that is beautiful you have a talent.
Another wrote: “Wow well done that’s lovely
A third said: “That’s gorgeous. Much nicer than any I’ve seen in the shops.”
Another thought: “Nicest one l have seen well done.”
And somebody else said: “Wow, beautiful and a real bargain, looks really expensive! You've inspired me to try myself.”
After receiving amazing feedback, she confirmed she’d be handing some out to her friends and family.
She added: “Wow thank you for all your lovely comments, I don’t know about selling them as I’m still very amateur to it, but I’ll be doing some for family and friends definitely."
