TAT'S AWKWARD

Woman gets told finger tattoos look like kids’ drawings after showing off ring & stuns by admitting they are

AFTER popping open the champagne and letting all your friends and family know, the next thing most brides-to-be never fail to do after getting engaged is post a picture of their ring on social media.

That said, Facebook is rife with countless "ring shaming" groups devoted to picking apart these designs - for example, the "ugly cockroach" ring or the one that resembled a "bedazzled vagina". Yes, really.

But while most rings found in these groups are usually posted by "friends" of the bride, one woman decided to turn this on its head by posting a picture of her OWN ring and inviting others to criticise it.

Unfortunately for her, it wasn't the aqua blue engagement ring that members of the group cared about - but rather, her distinctive finger tattoos which were drawn by her younger siblings.

Sharing a picture of her sapphire ring with a bronze band, the bride - who we suspect was probably a longtime lurker in the group - wrote: "Have at it babes. Dis my ring. Let's go."

Immediately, one taunted in response: "When your nails cost more than your ring and tattoos combined."

Commenting on the small sapphire, one critic joked: "Lemme get my microscope."

Another replied: "Your tattoo artist needs to stop. Omfg. So bad."

"I'm distracted by the bad nails and crappy tattoos," a third wrote.

Speaking from experience, one wrote: "I too have mountains tattooed on my finger. Mine weren't done by a toddler though..."

After laughing at the replies, the bride confirmed that they were actually designed by children.

She wrote: "I know everyone's taking s*** about them and saying they look like kids drew them which is spot on. My younger siblings (10 years old and younger) all drew stuff for my fingers and I love them."

For more wedding horror stories, this bride wore £775 TRAINERS with her wedding dress - and people thought the look was "atrocious".

And this Bridezilla banned her husband's kids from the wedding party in revenge for them having to pay £1,200 child support.

Plus this bride's VERY revealing dress has been slammed as she suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction while cutting the cake.
