B&M is selling personalised Christmas stockings for £3 – but it’s bad luck for those called Willow, Yasmin and Zoe

NOTHING says festive cheer more than the sight of a well-stuffed Christmas stocking.

However, a personalised one may beat them all - and you can buy them for just £3 a pop at B&M.

The popular bargain chain is selling its Knitted Alphabet Stocking for £2.99.

In a post on Instagram, they shared a snap of two versions of the product, which comes in a festive red and white design, pinned to a fireplace featuring the initials 'E' and 'J'.

"MAJOR Christmas fireplace inspo!!" the brand captioned the cosy image.

According to the website description it's "an essential to any home around Christmas time".

They added: "This knitted stocking would sit perfectly in your living room around your tree.

"Fill it with little, heartfelt gifts for your loved ones, and pick the right letters for you and your family."

The letters available include J, M, L, S, C, A, E, R, K, H, D, T, B, G, N, F, P, O and I.

This means that Q, W, X, Y and Z are not available - which is bad news for those called Willow, Yasmin or Zoe.

Despite not everyone being catered for, B&M's Instagram post quickly received more than 2,400 'likes' and over a hundred comments.

One person wrote: "I'm gonna get these for my house."

Another commented: "I've got these for my lot. They're so cute."

A third shared: "I want these for my fire place."

However, a fourth person asked: "I didn’t find 4/5 of my families initials! Do you not do them all @bm_stores ?!?"

And another complained that they couldn't fine one bearing 'Z'.
