CLAWS ARE OUT

Bride-to-be rinsed for ‘disease-ridden, bacteria-filled’ false nails as she shows off engagement ring

AFTER popping open the champers and letting your friends and family know the happy news, the first thing you do after getting engaged is posting a picture of the ring on social media. Fact.

And it's only natural to want your nails in pristine condition for that all-important photo - but have you ever spared a thought for what's hiding behind that Instagram-worthy manicure?

Well, we imagine one bride-to-be is seriously kicking herself after posting a photo of her sparkler which accidentally revealed some serious grime lurking on the inside of her nails. *shivers*

The American bride shared a picture of her pink sparkly manicure and equally glitzy ring on Facebook - where one of her friends then proceeded to post it in the group That's it, I'm ring shaming.

Inviting other users to comment on the, erm, rather grim nails, the user wrote: "Not my pic but wooowee."

Needless to say, other members in the ground were horrified by the state of the poor woman's nails - and didn't hold back in the comments.

"Oh Lawdy," one wrote. "I threw up in my mouth when I saw those hideous disease-ridden, bacteria-filled nails."

Speculating what on earth she had lurking there, another said: "Are those boogers in the nail??? What is this that?!!!? Also that RING HELL NO."

"Can't. Nope. So gross," a third wrote. "Why people just why? Your eyes can't see that nail bacterial smorgasbord as you posted that atrocious ring. Bleach and toothbrush RIGHT NOW."

Criticising the ring itself, another replied: "Ew to the ring and what is living under her nail..."

For more engagement ring shockers, this proud bride-to-be showed off her sparkler only to get rinsed for her "unhygienic talon" nails.

And this bride-to-be's engagement announcement was mocked by wedding shamers who couldn't bear how filthy her car was.

Plus this woman's diamond Mickey Mouse engagement ring was mocked by wedding shamers who think it's so cringey she'll have "bad sex for eternity".
