Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share unseen pic of Archie as royals wish Prince Charles a happy 71st birthday

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have posted an unseen black and white photo of Archie to mark the 71st birthday of his grandfather Prince Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the new snap from their six-month-old son’s christening on Instagram, as the rest of the royal family paid tribute to the first-in-line to the throne.

In the adorable never-before-seen image posted to their 9.8m followers, Harry, 35, and 38-year-old wife Meghan’s little boy can be seen being cradled by his father at his christening in July as the first-in-line to the throne gazes down at his youngest grandson.

“Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales – Sir, Pa, Grandpa!” the caption reads.

The post has already received over 130,000 ‘likes’ and more than 800 comments wishing Charles a “happy birthday”.

One person wrote: “Such a beautiful picture! Three generations!”

Meanwhile, William, 37, and 37-year-old wife Kate Middleton’s 10.3m followers were treated to a throwback snap of Charles holding the hand of Louis while in his mother’s arms.

The image was taken in the gardens of the Prince of Wales’ home Clarence House to mark his 70th birthday last year.

“Wishing a very happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!” the post, which also features pictures of Charles with his sons, is captioned.

It has already received more than 100,000 ‘likes’ and over 400 comments.

The Queen and Prince Philip similarly wished their eldest son a “happy birthday” via their own Instagram account.

Captioning a black and white snap of Charles as a baby in the Duke of Edinburgh’s arms, as the monarch looked on – and another taken of him more recently – they wrote: “Wishing The Prince of Wales a very happy birthday!”

It comes as the Queen’s son was treated to a birthday cake in Mumbai during his trip to India earlier today.

Charles visited children at the Kaivalya Education Foundation supported by the British Asian Trust.

Last night, he was pictured meeting singer Katy Perry at an evening engagement.
