Ashleigh Dunkley, from Buckie, North East Scotland, used foam pads and LED lights to create the sensory space for her three-year-old son CJ.
And Ashleigh’s pals were quick to praise her handiwork, after she posted photos of the results on Facebook.
One commented: “You done a great job with this. It’s an inspiration to others that a little bit of hard work goes a long way.”
“This is fab!! Well done, deserved as well the room really is amazing!” agreed another.
A third added: “Well done guys, looks ace!!”
In other news, this woman saved herself re-tiling her bathroom just by using cotton wool and bleach on mouldy grout.
And this mum transformed her tired kitchen with marble surface wrap from B&Q and a freebie breakfast bar.
