Taking to group 'Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It', the mum posted images of her stylish kitchen, which showed how the stick-on, battery-powered lighting had been applied beneath the upper cupboards.

Emma revealed how she had been inspired by another member of the group who made the thrifty discovery.

"To the lady who posted about the Home Bargains stick on lights.... You're an angel," she wrote.

"Saved me a fortune and a load of mess.
