Thrifty mums are giving their kitchens a glam makeover using £3.99 stick-on lights from Home Bargains

A woman called Emma shared how she had used her £3.99 purchase from the bargain store to transform her worktop.

Taking to group 'Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It', the mum posted images of her stylish kitchen, which showed how the stick-on, battery-powered lighting had been applied beneath the upper cupboards.

Emma revealed how she had been inspired by another member of the group who made the thrifty discovery.

"To the lady who posted about the Home Bargains stick on lights.... You're an angel," she wrote.

"Saved me a fortune and a load of mess.

£3.99 for a pack of 3....TAKE MY MONEY.

People rushed to praise her sleek kitchen - which also included cream cupboards, a wooden-effect worktop and lots of plants - and the post quickly garnered 1.4k 'likes'.

One person wrote: "Love these. Looks amazing."

Another commented: "I need to get some of those, they look great."

A third shared: "Omg I want these."
