Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wish fans happy Halloween and ‘little pumpkin’ Archie gets a mention
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have wished fans a happy Halloween with a sweet throwback snap.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a photo of themselves taken in New Zealand on their royal tour in 2018 - and they gave a special mention to their "little pumpkin" five-month-old son Archie.
In an Instagram post this evening, Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, wished their 9.8m followers a "safe and fun" time celebrating the spookiest day of the year.
They wrote: "Happy Halloween!
"Wishing you all a safe and fun Halloween from our family (and our little pumpkin) to yours!"
It captioned a photo of them on a visit to a special effects workshop a year ago.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be seen holding hands while surrounded by actors in scary costumes.
Within just an hour, the post had already received more than 150,000 'likes' and over 1,300 comments.
One person wrote: "Happy Halloween!!"
Another commented: "Love you beautiful couple."
Many asked if they could share a picture of Archie also.
A third requested: "Please give us a sneak peek of your little pumpkin’s Halloween costume!"
And a fourth added: "Wishing you and your little pumpkin a sweet Halloween."
It comes as it was revealed Meghan and Harry once went trick-or-treating on a secret Halloween date.
