Genius mum creates ‘baby food bellinis’ using peach sachets – and they actually look delicious

AS EVERY busy mum knows, there's sometimes nothing better than treating yourself to a drink after the kids have gone to bed.

Eleanor Tracey, 40, has come up with a genius hack for when you're short of ingredients - making 'baby food bellinis' with peach sachets.

The office manager, from London, was at a friend's house for a mums' night when she decided to try the recipe - and her mates all loved them.

Eleanor, who's mum to Winnie, five, and Ted, two, said: “I had a very rare night off from mummy/work/wife duty to hang out with some other mum friends and moan about work, kids, lack of sleep, never having any us time.

“We thought we would use Ella's peach pouches to pimp our Prosecco and make some Bellinis - we have named them Ellinis.

“We all thought it was a brilliant and hilarious idea.

“It turns out were not the first people to use these in alcoholic drinks and we certainly not be the last.”

Since then, Eleanor has also created a strawberry vodka cocktail - using the strawberry pouch puree, vodka, tonic water, sugar syrup and mint.

She's also planning to make Pear Martinis on their next mums' night.

Eleanor said: “I am always up for finding more cost effective and time saving tips to make being a working mum easier, so I can spend more time with my kids.

“Doing a food menu means the husband can start cooking if he gets home before me, and batch cooking at weekends saves time on a work night.”
